Brian loves hats, so when I brought Seth home with several tiny hats he had to try them on. Can you believe it stayed on his head?

My friend Shelly made this for me, it's a diaper cake. She said she used about 95 diapers. She sells them online. Cute ha?! I thought this was a way fun gift for someone who already has everything they need for baby - because we mother's always need diapers. :)

Welcome Baby!About three weeks early- and Mom's okay with it. :)

The umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck four times, it was very scary. We're so grateful he's here and healthy.

Happy Halloween everyone! These are my cute kids awaiting trick-or-treating! Brian enjoyed the pretzles not knowing something better was coming!

Incase it's hard to tell, Brian is a pumpkin, Joelene is an Arabian Princess, and Jonathan is of course Bat man!
I asked Jonathan if he was going to keep us all safe, and he replied that he's too small and that we all have to keep him safe instead, wouldn't that make a funny Bat man movie if all the civilians were trying to save Bat man the whole time.

After wearing 3 or 4 different costumes throughout the day, we went with the one that was warmer then the others. :)

This is Alison and Jason's new addition. A little pumpkin of their very own! So sweet!

My three adorable children!

I accidentally gave Joelene this cute haircut. Her hair is so thick, it is quite a cute cut on her. But I think Joel wouldn't be too happy with me if I cut it this short again. :)

Joel is currently working at a company called, "We love Berries"

Some of the fields.

The most handsome man on the Job, in front of the strawberry fields.

His job usually consists of driving around this huge water truck. He wets the roads so the dirt doesn't get on the strawberries. Not only does he keep the strawberries cleaner, but the real issue are the bugs that the dirt brings with it- I never new.

A couple times a week, he also uses this truck to help mix the pesticides they apply on the strawberries. On those days he works from 7:00a.m. until about 1:00, and then goes back to work at 6:00p.m. until 10, or 11, sometimes later. Kind of a crazy schedule.

This truck is so old they don't make parts for it anymore. Joel has had to rig up the seat belt to hold the door shut. He has to sit halfway on flat cardboard boxes to sit level. There are no glass on the windows, and lately when he applies the brakes they don't un-break after, so he has to use the breaks as little as possible. :) At least he's not bored.

While he drives he is able to practice learning a little Spanish everyday. There is only one person on the job who speaks English, Lucio, his boss. Joel is learning Spanish well working with all the Mexicans.

This job isn't exactly appealing to a college graduate, but you've got to start at the bottom and work your way up. We're just here for a while and then Joel's family business will set us up somewhere else. We'll see what they have in store for us, and when.

All in all, we lead very blessed lives.

We visited Joel's family to celebrate his Mom's graduation, Joel's graduation and Lance's graduation. Congratulations everyone!!

Me and my two sisters-in-law, Alison and Ann who are also pregnant! So fun!!

Alison is Due in October, and Ann is due in July. They are both having boys, I wonder what I will have.

This was Jonathan's expression when I was bringing out the presents!

Turned slightly, defensive of Joelene who wanted to help open the presents. I did have to physically restrain Brian. :)

Does he like it?

He does!!

He's holding up a toy called a "Water Snake" he says it's his favorite present. It's just this rubbery thing that has some kind of liquid inside with "Nemo" the fish, and some other underwater creatures. You shake it and squeeze it and it's hard to hold on to. Thanks to the dollar store!

"Happy Birthday to you..." This is the first multi-layered cake I've ever made! Yea it worked! I even made cream-cheese frosting to go on top, yum!

It took three tries to blow out his five candles! My little boy is FIVE!!! Can't believe it!

We Found a Puppy!

We found this tiny puppy outside our door one day. All alone.

We walked all around our neighborhood looking for someone who might be looking for a lost puppy. We found no one. Joel finally called Animal Control, and when they came to pick up the puppy, our four year old next door neighbor was outside and said, "That's my Auntie's dog."

Turns out this puppy gets out all the time, they've only had her for a short time and they didn't know she was even outside. I didn't ask them if it was their puppy because they have a small place with six people living there and two cats, I figured they wouldn't have a puppy also. But I guess I should have listened to the little voice in my head telling me to ask the neighbors. That was a close one!

Blue eyed beauty! Brian is just out of a bath and all cuddled up, so cute!

This is Jonathan posing with our new dryer, that works and doesn't even leak gas!!! Yea!! I'm done with gas dryers! He's excitedly holding up our free Bounce dryer sheet sample that came inside. :) Very exciting!
Now if we can get a washer that doesn't leak we'll be set! :}

Brian's first real Easter. We gave him this first egg and he held on to it the whole hunt. At first he didn't understand what to do. He wouldn't put the egg in the basket...

As soon as Joel opened the first egg, Brian understood what all the excitement was about. He immediately sat down and began opening all the eggs. It was only a matter of minutes before he was drooling chocolate. It was fun!

I'd say she found a good lot of eggs there. They are spilling over the edges of her basket.

All lined up for the hunt. Most kids can't contain themselves, but mine are happy to pose for a picture. :) Gran and Grandpa took the kids on a walk while the Easter bunny hid the eggs.

Joel's brothers bring out the kid in him. :) And vice-verse.
